Hadley Garden

The Hadley Garden in Ferndale, CA was created by the Willis D Hadley Foundation with the mission to enhance, restore, and protect wildlife and native plant communities. The garden was designed to highlight some of the unique and ecologically important habitats of the north coast such as coastal dunes, coastal prairie, riparian forest, and coastal bluffs. Living architecture elements include living walls and a green roof planted with 100% locally native plants. Samara Restoration designed the landscape and planting plan, provided the native plants, installed the landscape features, and assisted with vegetation maintenance.
